Horrible – never, ever do business with them. I have moved more times than I can count and this is by far the worst company I have EVER dealt with. To start off I was given a quote over the phone of $ 2,000 - $ 2,500 based on the number of rooms. I lived in a rural area and explained that due to the drive it would only accommodate a box truck the same size as a standard UPS truck. Upon moving day (of course you have to be out due to closing on sale of home) the movers showed up and the truck would not fit through the gate. I then had to drive to a nearby town and rent at 100% of my cost a U-Haul truck. The movers then loaded the U-Haul and drove it down the drive to unload it and reload it in their truck. This doubled the amount of time, causing a delay in my arrival at my new apartment complex. Eventually, they showed up at the apartment complex and I was told that the original quote of $2,000 – $2,500 was wrong because they changed by weight and now it was going to be $3,400. They also informed me that there was an additional change for labor and that they would not unload my furniture until I paid the amount in full. It’s amazing how you will immediately pay for all your belongings even when you are being wrongly charged. After the movers unloaded everything I found several things that were damaged including a hutch that cannot be repaired. It has been handed down through generation since the Civil War. I filed all the necessary paperwork with the company to be reimbursed for my damages. It took them a full 90 days to respond, at which time they gave me a total of $ 225.00. With an explanation that it was for appearance since the items were not damaged beyond use. They also offed $27.00 for the property that was damaged beyond use. They arrived at this amount since they only offer $ .60 per pound, what a joke. Please read the BB Bureau for more info. I have not been the only one!!!!!!!
